Lee Min Ho is a 22 year old South Korean actor and model. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. Active in his career since 2006, Lee is probably most popular for his role as Gu Jun Pyo in the Korean television series Boys over Flowers.

For this role, he sported curls, a really difficult style to manage with Asian hair. Because his black hair is naturally straight, he had to have a permanent periodically to keep the curls alive. It did have the effect of making him look as if he has much more hair than is actually there.

In May, 2009, he was photographed for the June issue of Vogue Girl magazine wearing a James Dean hairstyle. His hair was combed back in a combination between a pompadour and a ducktail, making him look every bit the rebel.

In a commercial that was recently shot in the Philippines, Lee was cast as a bit of a bad boy. To pull off the look, he wore his hair straight and long with sideburns that reached all the way to his jaw. In one scene, he is seen kissing "bad girl" Sandara from the band 2NE1.

Sporting different hairstyles for different roles makes it easier for Lee to avoid being type cast into roles that are mirror images of his character in Boys over Flowers.

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Ricardo Kaka, is a Brazilian born professional footballer (soccer player). His family was well enough off during his childhood that he was able to focus all his attention on school and soccer.

Kaka has had a very successful career playing as a midfielder, and sometimes striker, for three different professional teams. He began his professional career at the age of 15 playing for Sao Paulo. As European teams began to take an interest in him, he signed to play for Milan in 2003. This year, Kaka was signed to play for Real Madrid.

One common thread that links all of the hairstyles worn by Kaka during his career is that all are short. Beyond that, he appears to have adopted a different hairstyle for each team he has played for.

Throughout the western world, Europe and America alike, there is a subculture of individuals who are extreme free thinkers. This subculture is very anti-establishment and is known as punk. This movement began in the 1960s and has continued to today. While the punk culture follows its own fashion trends apart from mainstream society in many areas, here, we are going to look at a brief history of punk hairstyle trends.

Two features of punk hairstyles can be traced all the way back to the beginnings of this movement. The addition of bright colors, often using multiple colors, to the hair to make one stand out in a crowd is the first. Second, is the style of haircuts chosen by members of the punk subculture.

People have long been in the practice of using hair dyes to change the color of their hair as a means of making themselves feel more attractive. Punks use hair dyes to make themselves appear different from the mainstream society. Bright, harsh colors such as red, neon green, blue, orange, yellow, and other colors that are not found naturally in hair coloring began to be used in the 1960s and really became popular among punks in the 70s.

The 1970s saw changes in hairstyles as well as the use of bright colors on punks. One of the most common punk hairstyles is the Mohawk, though this has different variations. Many punks of both sexes wear this hairstyle either as a fanned Mohawk or a Liberty Spike Mohawk, denoting freedom. Some punks, more male than female, have also gone with a variation of the Mohawk that uses two equidistantly spaced stripes of hair with both sides and the center of the head shaved.

In the 1980s, many punks began to adopt more conservative approaches to their hairstyles and fashions. Today, a person can be a hardcore punk and not really look much different from the average boy next door. However, for most punks, it is still common to add outrageous colors to their hair and have it styled in ways that shout nonconformity.

Even among individuals who do not go all out with the Mohawk, a faux-hawk, a less radical version that does not involve shaving the sides of the head, or keeping a full head of hair and doing it all up in liberty spikes is not uncommon. How To Style A Mohawk Haircut

Around the world there is a subculture of individuals known as punk. Individuals that fall into this subculture tend to be freethinkers and have a strong desire to stand out from the crowd. One method used to do this is having the hair in a style that is completely nontraditional. One of the most often seen haircuts among this group is the Mohawk. For anyone interested in obtaining this particular look it is important they learn how to style a Mohawk haircut.

The first step is having the hair cut into a Mohawk. This is relatively easy to accomplish, although it usually requires assistance from another individual to ensure everything is even and centered. A strip of hair, normally at approximately the width of the space between the eyebrows up to about an inch is separated from the rest of the hair by a part on either side reaching all the way to the back of the head.

The hair on the outside of each part is then shaved completely away with a razor. This should leave only the single strip of hair across the center of the top of the head and down the back. The hair has now been cut into a Mohawk style.

Once the hair has been cut, there are generally two forms in which the Mohawk can be styled. These are a traditional fanned Mohawk, and a liberty Mohawk. The styling methods for the two are really quite similar, though the end result is very different.

To style a traditional fanned Mohawk, it is easiest to hang the head straight down so that one is looking backward between his knees and calm the hair on top of the head so that it hangs straight down. The use of a fine tooth comb will produce a smoother looking fan than one with more space between the teeth. Next, one should apply a liberal amount of gel, pomade, hairspray, or even glue to the hair to hold it in place so that it stands straight up.

Styling the back of the hair is accomplished in almost the same way, except that one looks straight up so that the hair on the back hangs down. Gravity proves to be a very useful tool when one is attempting to style and Mohawk.

For a Liberty spike Mohawk, the stripe of hair is separated into it evenly sized portions from front to back, typically with rubber bands. Each section is then pulled together and pulled out from the head so that it forms a cylindrical shape that tapers to a point. Once the hair has been pulled into position, the application of hair products as mentioned above will hold each spike in place.
